Hello! My name is LJ which is short for LockJaw. I got my name when I was still weaning. I was trying to convince the breeder that I was already weaned (even though she knew I wasn't!) so I would lock my beak shut really tight and she would have to pry it open to get the food down me! Thus the name - LockJaw. Of course, now, eating is one of my most favorite things!

I was hatched on May 9, 1997 and I am a Blue Fronted Amazon. I was a Christmas present on Dec. 1997 and my favorite song is "Jingle Bells". In fact, every day is Christmas as far as I am concerned because I like to sing Jingle Bells every day :-)

My breeder, Talking Green Parrot Aviary, works on speech training the babies so when I was adopted by my humans, they continued the training and now I am a very vocal, intelligent and fast learner! I also love to sing and have a killer tremelo!

My life is very exciting! Here are some cool pictures of me and my adventures. My family provides me with lots of good nutritious food, toys, play time daily, showers and a whole lot of love.
